Overview

Trello Bot is a TypeScript Discord.js bot that turns Discord into a full Trello client. Through slash commands, buttons, select menus, and modals it lets staff browse boards, lists, and cards; create, edit, comment on, and label cards; manage checklists, attachments, and members; search across boards; and subscribe to per-card notifications. It is built on my own templateDiscordBot framework with sharding, and pairs with a companion API service that streams live Trello events over Socket.IO so card changes surface in Discord in real time. Persistence and scheduling run on MongoDB, Redis, and BullMQ, with node-schedule jobs for weekly Trello digests and webhook health checks, all reached through an SSH-tunnelled connection.
