Overview

scrnly is a work-in-progress Flameshot-style screenshot and screen-recording application built as a Rust + Tauri workspace with a React frontend. It offers region capture with annotation (rectangle, arrow, blur, freehand), screen recording to MP4/WebM/GIF, a video editor with time-ranged annotations, ShareX-compatible uploads to Imgur and Gyazo, global hotkeys, and a system tray. The single binary works as both a GUI app and a CLI (scrnly capture, scrnly record). A companion web app at scrnly.xyz provides its landing page, accounts, billing, and update endpoint.
